How InterHyve Sàrl collects, uses and protects personal data — under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
1. Who we are
InterHyve Sàrl ("InterHyve", "we") is a managed IT and security services provider registered in Geneva, Switzerland. For personal data processed through this website and in the course of our services, InterHyve acts as data controller unless a service agreement designates us as processor.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need: contact details you submit through our forms (name, organisation, email), correspondence you send us, and minimal technical logs required to operate and secure this website. We do not use advertising trackers.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to your enquiries and provide our services
- To meet contractual and legal obligations, including security duties
- To protect our infrastructure and that of our clients (legitimate interest)
4. Where your data lives
Our systems are hosted and operated in Switzerland. Where a specific service involves a transfer abroad (for example, a cloud platform you have chosen), we rely on appropriate safeguards and tell you before it happens.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by Swiss law, then delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Write to privacy@interhyve.com. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Job applications
When you apply for a position through our careers page, we collect the information you provide — your name and contact details, the position, your CV, any motivation letter, and anything you choose to tell us about yourself. We process this data to evaluate your application, to communicate with you during the recruitment process, and to comply with our legal obligations as an employer. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request prior to a possible employment contract, together with our legitimate interest in recruiting.
Your application is sent directly to our recruitment inbox and is accessible only to the people involved in hiring. We do not share it with third parties and we do not use it for any purpose other than recruitment. If your application is unsuccessful, we keep it for up to 12 months in case a suitable role arises, after which it is deleted — unless you ask us to remove it sooner, or agree to us keeping it longer for future openings. You may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of your application data by writing to privacy@interhyve.com.
Website measurement (self-hosted Matomo)
We measure how this website is used with Matomo, an open-source analytics platform that we host ourselves on Swiss infrastructure. It runs in cookieless mode: no cookies are set, no consent banner is required, and no data ever leaves our servers or Switzerland. IP addresses are anonymised and the browser Do-Not-Track preference is honoured.
