InterHyve is 10 years old

Already 10 years where did the time go? In October 2000, two of InterHyve’s founders Kofi and Fabrice quit their jobs to pursue their dream to provide: Simple Solutions for Solid Networks.

Private Cloud Services

What’s all the fuss about this “Cloud Computing” ?

Everybody is sure that cloud computing is key to the future of IT, but people often seem unsure as to quite what it is. In fact, it’s an umbrella term for a number of different trends, all involving the internet and it’s potential to simplify the way we use computers and extend their capabilities.

 

The “cloud” is the internet, and the term is fitting – it’s large, out there somewhere, and fuzzy at the edges. Cloud computing is about putting more of your material out there and less on PCs or servers that a business runs for itself.

You can do this in many ways, but with every vendor claiming to do cloud computing in some form it has become confusing.

At InterHyve we specialize in the provision of Private Cloud Computing Services. Our Private Cloud Services have been devised specifically for our clients and managed by us exclusively for our clients.

Our aim is to remove the uncertainty that is commonly associated with Public Cloud solutions such as:

  • Where is my data?
  • Who has access to it?
  • What laws govern access to my data?

 

Our Private Cloud Team will:

  • Accompany you in the creation of custom Cloud Solutions based on your specific organizational needs.
  • These solutions will all be implemented in our datacenters located in Switzerland and will be subject to the Swiss Data Protection laws.
  • Your custom solution will be managed by our customer minded technical staff.

Software as a Service (SaaS):

These are pre-packaged services that you access simply by navigating there in a web browser or other web application. Our current SaaS solutions are:

 

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

 

Our IaaS solutions allow for the provision of physical servers or virtual servers on a pay-as- you-go basis. As opposed to a traditional systems implementation there is no need for heavy initial investment costs on hardware, software or professional services. For a relatively small activation fee we are able to rapidly provision your specific platform. When your business needs change we can ramp up or scale down to reflect this. Our current IaaS solutions are:

    

Platform as a Service (PaaS)

A set of lower-level services such as an operating systems or computer language interpreter or web server offered by a cloud provider, on which developers can build custom applications. Our current PaaS solutions are:

  • Sharepoint Development Platform
  • Window Web Development and Production Platform
